Oil Sorbents

Oil-Dri’s oil sorbents will selectively absorb oil and oil based products whilst repelling water. They are ideal for use on oil spills on water but can also be used outside on land and in buildings. Polypropylene is dustless and has excellent absorption and retention properties.

  • Oil Pads

    The most widely used absorbent pad: the melt-blown polypropylene material will handle all oil spills or catch leaks and drips from machinery on land or water. Perfect for everyday plant housekeeping and can be used to clean up spillages or as an aid for clean maintenance operations.

  • Oil Bonded Pads

    Very durable, oil absorbing, layered polypropylene, primarily used for absorbing petroleum and hydrocarbon based fluids off land or water. Surface dimples enhance product strength. Use to contain leaks and sprays around machinery or as part of emergency spill clean up.

  • Oil Only Drum Top Pads

    Can be placed on the top of 205 litre oil drums to ensure the surface is kept clean. The pads are excellent for absorbing petroleum based liquids leaking from pumps and dispenser cans.

    • Highly absorbent - absorbs up to 25 times its own weight.

    Ideal for siting close to equipment that leaks and where oil over-sprays and drips can occur. Oil roll can be easily cut to any configuration, to suit individual situations.

    Hardwearing rolls, which work as three products in one – sock, pad or roll. Ready folded and with perforations for ease of use they are versatile for use in everyday plant housekeeping or in emergency spill situations.

  • Oil Pillows 10P

    Hardwearing and versatile pillows for use in sumps and bilges or under leaking machinery. Can also be used on large spills on land or water. These pillows are hydrophobic; they will selectively absorb oil whilst repelling water.
